Complete with 2 Scorpions and an ex-Rainbow, this was an awe-inspiring show from a true guitar legend. It was particularly gratifying to see Michael Schenker back at his best, soloing from his past as if it was yesterday and hopefully with his self-destructive demons long behind him…
Dougie White, Herman Rarebell and Francis Bucholz aided Schenker in a complete run through of nearly 4o years of UFO, MSG and Scorpions greatest hits glory. Most of Schenker’s playing could have been as if he was an 18 year old ‘wunderkind’ again, ‘Rock Bottom’ must have been the highlight of highlights of a superb evening.
